School Workshops
Our museum provides an unparalleled atmosphere for learning about the history of medicine. We offer dedicated school workshops on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays when the museum is closed to the general public.
Sessions include:
- Victorian Surgery: A live, interactive demonstration of an 1822 amputation (using a dummy) to understand the role of the surgeon.
- The Apothecary's Apprentice: Hands-on experience identifying and mixing herbs used for historical cures.
